About Me
Welcome to Shoreline Artworks and I hope you enjoy the images of my work.
I’m a self-taught artist who believes that we all have the desire and ability to create and the creative process is simply part of our DNA.
The work deals with themes such change, exploration and cityscapes and use a range of everyday material, such as wood, Perspex and steel materials which are often overlooked because of their ordinariness.
View My Work
The website has a selection of my artwork to view. My studio has much more pieces should you wish to see my whole portfolio.
Paintings / 2D Artwork
The act of committing paint to a surface often allows for a freer more exploratory approach to recording different environments real or imaginary. These environments are not recorded as a moment in time but a series of recollections of times, memories and senses. The medium is the method.
Assemblages / 3D Artwork
Assemblage, in art, work produced by the incorporation of everyday objects into the composition. Although each non-art object, such as a piece of rope or newspaper, acquires aesthetic or symbolic meanings within the context of the whole work, it may retain something of its original identity. Photographs
The camera encourages us to take a closer look and through technology we have the opportunity re frame images in a way that highlight one aspect of the original image. All the photographs are available in black and white and A4 plain white or black frame.
